I have always worked out since I was 23 . Not into body building I like to stay in shape.I`ve always been a Runner,in high school all four years.Up until a few years ago I did road races Competively the 5K . Did pretty good at it for my age, I always placed.I still push Iron ,I cant run like I used to knees wont take the miles,but I still do what I can tolerate. so I ride a road bike 20-25mi 3-4 times a week,I have a speed bag in the back yard to, My heavy bag busted the Straps. I love the water; oceans, rivers, pools, just about anything with water can bring a peaceful hint to my day. Most people would think of me as a book worm. I love to read. I also enjoy music mostly country, dancing even though I am not very good at it, and walks. I am the kind of person who enjoys honesty... Yes, my weight was an issue, but as I travel down this road of self-discovery, it has become something I have slowly conquered, and continue to work on until I've reached my goal. Blah blah blah....

I've always been an adventurous woman who, while not always haven taken the right road, the path has always led me to real insights and hard learned lessons in life. However, I keep my mind open to new experiences as I like how life has shaped my character and personality, and always seek to be better and better. Sounds kind of Zen-ish, doesn't it!

I am very musical and artistic. I play drums, and am learning the guitar. Percussion is where i excel though. I enjoy writing, reading, and playing video games. I also enjoy sports: Golf, Baseball, Basketball, Football, you name it and i will probably enjoy playing or watching it.

Even though I am into music, I do not like loud clubs. If I cannot have a conversation, then the place is too loud. Every club or bar doesn't have to act like they are having a concert going when there is no live band. It's just my opinion.

First off, I'm not really on here for dating because I'm in the happiest relationship of my life. I would just really like to meet some people to hang out with in my area. Penpals are always nice too. I was enlisted in the Marine Corps infantry for two years. I've been out for while and most of the people I know in town have moved away or are too busy to hang out.

In retrospect, the rest of what I had written before really didn't explain much about me. It's silly to have a profile on this site, but if I'm going to have one, I might as well say a little about myself.

My favorite author is Dostoevsky. The first book I read by him was Crime and Punishment and I couldn't believe what I was reading. I related with Raskolnikov immensely. I have personally experienced the kind of mental instability that physical sickness and a touch of nihilism can bring to a person's life, and apparently so did Dostoevsky. Later, when I read The Brothers Karamazov, I felt like Dost had scooped out all my fears, ambitions, and internal conflicts and wrote a novel about them. Reading his novels gave me the first real hope in my life that another human being could possibly understand me.

I believe in love. I believe that love is separate and above our current ridiculous social custom of "dating". I believe that what lies at the core of love is the ability to be selfless and that you can only love to the degree that you can be selfless.

I am Christian in the sense that I strive to be a follower of Christ. I think that all modern churches are astray with their politicing and greediness. I am also interested in the Messianic Judaism movement as a potential home for my ideologies and beliefs.

I think that a person should only define themselves by what they are willing to die for, because when you define yourself, it limits you (which is technically what a "definition" is. I try to keep the ways I define myself counted on one hand - to varied success.

I believe in certain concepts of the tao - not as a philosophy, but as a reality of nature. When you are swimming against the current of your own path, every tiny thing in your life will seem exhausting and tiresome to you.

I practice a variant of wu style Tai Chi and the martial style of Kung Fu San Soo. I highly recommend both to everyone I meet.

I am very shy. But once I get to know you, I open up very quickly. I am a mother, I have two daughters, One son who passed away June 2006. I like all music, My hobbies are car audio, I installed my own system, I have a Jetta, Im very much into cars, working on them and fixing them up.
